Croft Farm Kayaking & Canoeing

We offer Canoe instruction and testing up to two star standard with practise on the lake and trips on the
River Avon.

So if you're a complete beginner or want to improve on previously learnt skills, we have a course for you.

Taster Course
one session of 2hrs

Introduction to Kayaking: One Star
3 sessions of 2hrs ( 2 sessions on lake and 1 on river )

This introduction to paddling is designed for people with little or no experience. The practical content includes: launching and landing, forward and backward paddling, stopping, forward and reverse sweep strokes, stern rudder and how to capsize in safety.

Improving techniques: Two Star
3 sessions of 2hrs ( 2 sessions on lake and 1 on river )
2 people £185 / 3 people £240 / 4 people £290
The follow on course to include high and low brace rescue support strokes, low brace turn, capsize on the move and rescue, good forward and reverse paddling, draw strokes and eskimo rescue.

One person price is £55 per 2 hour lesson
