Croft Farm Power Boats

We have a good range of powerboats that we use to teach some of the essential boat handling skills and safety points within the RYA scheme

 
         

Courses and tuition details

Level 2 - National Powerboat Certificate
2 day course
1 person £270 / 2 people £410 / 3 people £500

This course will provide you with a good level of boat handling and seamanship skills giving you the confidence to use and drive powerboats unsupervised.
Some course content includes: launch and recovery, starting and stopping procedures, high and low speed manoeuvres (S turns, U turns, holding off, going astern), leaving and coming alongside a jetty or mooring and man overboard recovery.

Safety Boat Course
2 day course
1 person £270 / 2 people £410 / 3 people £500

This course moves on from pure boat handling skills to focus on rescue techniques for various types of craft including windsurfers, sailing boats and canoes. More advanced boat handling skills are covered including towing techniques. The course pre-requisite is Level2.

Both Level 2 and Safety Boat courses are two days done in four sessions (am/pm). The sessions can be taken over two consecutive days or completed over several days.
